NEW BUSINESS:
1.
Review of
minor subdivision plat creating Lots 11-A and 11-B from
Lot
11 of the Clyde
E. Daniels Tract:
Daryl Calloway of Thomas & Hutton
Engineering Company presented the minor subdivision plat to the board for their
review and recommendation.
Mr. Calloway stated that his client, Remington II, LLC only needs to purchase a
portion of the tract for a proposed business. Therefore, he is asking to create
a minor subdivision in order to have the plat recorded. The board questioned the
remaining lot size of
Lot
11-A for adequate setbacks and access to Lot 11-B.
In response, Mr. Calloway stated that the remaining Lot 11-A would
contain approximately
1.320 acres
and setbacks would be sufficient for future development, referencing the
10’
building setback noted on the plat as well as the
60’
front building setback. Further, the access to Lot 11-B would be off of the
adjacent
30’
private access easement, rather than directly off of Highway 80. With no further
comments, a motion was made by Commissioner Taylor
to recommend approval of the minor subdivision plat creating Lots 11-A and 11-B
from
Lot
11 of the Clyde E. Daniels Tract. Motion was seconded by Commissioner Olliff and
passed without opposition.
2.
Review of
recombination plat of 7.30 acres located on Winskie Road into Lots 1 and 2 for
land distribution between Amy Davis Clayton and Linda Davis Hawk:
The petitioner was not present. Given
that the board reviewed the plat and had no questions, a motion was made by
Commissioner Ringham to recommend approval of the recombination plat of 7.30
acres located on
Winskie Road
into Lots 1 and 2 for land distribution between Amy Davis Clayton and Linda
Davis Hawk. Motion was seconded by Commissioner Reardon and passed without
opposition.
There being no further business to discuss, Commissioner Archer made a motion to
adjourn at approximately
6:25 p.m.
Motion was seconded by Commissioner Ringham and passed without opposition.
