Qualifying for the November 3rd election for mayor and six (6) councilmembers (at large) begins on Monday, August 31st at 8:30 a.m. and ends of Friday, September 4th at 4:30 in the office of the city clerk. Fees are $216.00 for the office of mayor and $108.00 for the office of councilmember.
The City has started a meter project consisting of replacing some older meters, reprogramming existing meters from 10 gallon resolution to 1 gallon resolution, and adding a transmitter to the meter set. This project will help the City better serve its customers.
