Attention Regarding Current Water Bills

The City has started a meter project consisting of replacing some older meters, reprogramming existing meters from 10 gallon resolution to 1 gallon resolution, and adding a transmitter to the meter set.  This project will help the City better serve its customers.  Over the next few months UWS, a contractor of the City, will be in and around our customers’ meter boxes performing this work.  This project will also allow the City to change the billing resolution from 10 gallon to 1 gallon.  This will allow the customer to see the actual gallon consumption.  Previously the customer would need to multiply the consumption by 10 to get actual consumption.  Please be mindful of this change if you are a customer of the City.
